The Why
Gato Gordo Ridershouse was born from a strong desire to change your life and live authentically and freely, creating a space where everyone can feel truly themselves. From the need to rediscover a deep connection with nature and a place to express themselves without filters, we found our answer on the Costa Verde: Asturias, where the Atlantic Ocean meets eucalyptus forests and the Cantabrian Mountains.
It's the result of a conscious choice: to abandon conventional paths to build a world of sharing, nature, and genuine relationships. Here, everyone finds not only accommodation, but a welcoming environment where they can slow down, connect, and rediscover the pleasure of simple things.

MORENZ "THE OUTDOOR GUIDE"
A surveyor by profession, and a natural athlete. I competed in competitive cycling for 10 years, and now, in addition to mountain biking, I enjoy many other sports, such as surfing, hiking, and ski mountaineering. Tired of living in a routine, I revolutionized my life and embarked on this journey, dedicating myself 100% to what I love! What can I say? I can't wait to meet you and share all this with you!
ALI "THE ZEN"
A professional stylist, I create (sometimes a little crazy) ideas in real life! I fell in love with surfing by chance, and even though I'm still a beginner, my passion for the sea has always been a part of me. The art of movement is my habitat, and yoga was a discovery! Trapped in a city life that didn't suit me, I plucked up courage and, together with my "partner-in-crime," we embarked on this adventure!
Mission
Gato Gordo was born as a home from which to share experiences. Whether it's surfing, cycling, yoga, or simply a relaxing day, the idea is to share time, space, and activities spontaneously. Here, sport isn't about performance, but rather a way to feel good, explore the area, and meet like-minded people. We leave together, we return together, and everything else happens in between.
Vision
The idea is simple: create a place where you can truly unplug, be in nature, and take your time.

Gato Gordo aims to be a reference point for those seeking authentic experiences, without rigid schedules, where they can share moments, activities, and time with other people, in a natural way.
The Name

Let's be honest, who lives better than a house cat? A warm bed, food, and lots of love! Zeus and Tina know this well: free to explore the world around them, they always have a place to return to, where they feel welcome :)

Whether you're surfing the waves or riding a bike along a mountain trail, this is the place to be. A place where you can breathe in the air of adventure, exchange tips, and share outdoor experiences!
We wanted to create a place of exchange, where our guests could feel at home, in an informal atmosphere, where passion for sports and travel could be shared, perhaps over a nice dinner with "new friends."
