How to reach us
ON FOOT/BICYCLE: follow the signs for the Camino de Santiago until the turnoff for "rellayo", it is recommended to go up from
N 632 taking the road towards “Capilla Sant'Ana” near the Avia service station.
We offer a free shuttle service from the Camino de Santiago shell towards Rellayo (Concha de Artedo) after the underpass.
BY CAR: From the A8, exit 431 Cudillero. From N 632, take the road towards "Capilla Sant'Ana" near the "Cudillero" roundabout next to the Avia service station. Parking is available along the road, 50 meters from the house.
BY BUS: The nearest bus stops are "SAN JUAN" in front of La Lupa restaurant and "VILLAZONES" next to the Avia gas station. Check the bus service at www.alsa.es for schedules and routes.
BY TRAIN: The nearest train station is "CUDILLERO," about 3 km away. Check www.renfe.com/es/es/cercanias/cercanias-asturias for timetables and routes.

Gato Gordo Riders House is located a 5-minute drive from Cudillero, one of the most charming villages on the Asturian coast in northern Spain. The guesthouse is surrounded by nature, with views of the Atlantic Ocean, just a few kilometers from Playa de Aguilar (our home spot) and beaches like Salinas and Xagó.
What is the nearest airport?
The nearest airport is Asturias Airport (OVD), about 20 minutes from the property. We can help you arrange a transfer or suggest the best options between taxis and buses.
What activities can I do during my stay?
During your stay, you can go surfing, cycling (MTB or e-bike), hiking, or join yoga sessions. The area is also perfect for those walking the Camino del Norte who are looking for a peaceful stop immersed in nature.
Is the property suitable for solo travelers?
Yes, Gato Gordo is also suitable for solo travelers. The common areas and activities make it easy to meet other people and share experiences, without any pressure.
Can I surf or rent equipment?
Yes. We organize surf lessons with local schools in the Playa de Aguilar area, suitable for all levels. Surfboards, wetsuits, and accessories are also available for rent.
Do you have bikes for rent?
Yes, we offer mountain bike and e-bike rentals. You can use them independently or ask for recommendations on the best routes in the area.
Is the property suitable for digital nomads?
Yes, the guesthouse is also suitable for remote workers. We provide stable Wi-Fi, quiet spaces, and a natural environment that allows you to balance work and outdoor activities.

Yes, we accept pets upon request. We just ask that you inform us at the time of booking. Note: there are 2 cats living on the property.
